Setting Up Your Kraus Online E-mail Account

Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird on your computer. Open Mozilla Thunderbird. Click Create a new account.

2. Select Email account. Click Next.

3. Type your name in the Your Name field. Type your e-mail address in the Email Address field. Click Next.

4. Select POP for the type of incoming server. Type mail.krausonline.com in the Incoming Server field. Click Next.

Your outgoing (SMTP) server should be mail.krausonline.com and the outgoing (SMTP) server port should be 587. Instructions for changing outgoing (SMTP) server information are below after the Finish screen.

5. Type your user name in the Incoming User Name field. Click Next.

6. Type the name that you would like to call the account in the Account Name field. Click Next.

7. Verify that the information you provided is correct. Click Finish. Congratulations!

Changing the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server Information

1. Select Account Settings from the Thunderbird Tools menu.

2. Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left side of the Account Settings screen. Select the outgoing server that is shown for your Kraus Online account. Click Edit.

3. If the server name under Settings in the SMTP Server dialog box is not mail.krausonline.com, type mail.krausonline.com in the Server Name field.

4. Type 587 in the Port field under Settings in the SMTP Server dialog box.

5. Under Security and Authentication in the SMTP Server dialog box, check the box for Use name and password. Type your Kraus Online user name in the User Name field.

6. Click OK to close the SMTP Server dialog box.

7. Click OK to close the Account Settings screen.
